One Man's Trash

I'm currently having the last of my Semester Holiday in Hamburg and plan on staying over Easter. Since my Honeypot is looking for a new jacket I got the idea of digging through some of the local Thrift Stores first.

Got inspired? We visited somewhat 4 second-hand-shops, but the ones worth visiting in my opinion would be: Nonos Kleidermarkt  and Vintage & Rags.

Confetti

I recently attended a birthday party with a Confetti Theme. I should be getting actual party Photos soon from Mattis but until then, I'll just show you how I woke up the following day with a slight hangover.

My boyfriend showed me this TED-talk by Shane Koyczan. It's more of a poem and it surprised and touched me very deeply.

Pillow Case

 

I knew you've been dying to know what my mysterious DIY-project was about. Hohoho yeah right.We'll here you go, I've turned some rug shreds into stylish pillow cases! I've knitted these with 6mm weaving needles and altho it might look like a lot of work, it all comes together quite quickly in the end. I made one big scarf-like piece that I than wrapped around the pillow and the last pic is of the seams, which I think turned out real nice when concidering that I had no idea what I was doing.
